## Get a more reliable result

- 1 Put the new date, or the lack of one, in the first two sentences.

- 2 Separate what you caused from what you are still waiting on.

- 3 Only include compensation or extra work if a person has already approved it.

## Prompt questions

Should I wait until I have a new date? If a revised date is still unknown, the prompt will mark it "To confirm" and lead with the recovery plan instead of guessing.

Will this blame the client? No. It states facts, including client dependencies you supplied, without assigning fault. Review the cause line before you send.

Can ChatGPT promise overtime to recover? Only if you included that offer. Do not let the model invent extra effort, discounts, or a new launch date.
